Rudderville Running Club is a track and field club located in Franklin TN, providing training to athletes wanting to improve their skills in track and field. This club is for high school athletes who can train in a group setting, as well as independently. Meets offered for those looking to compete.

Off-Season Club For High School Athletes Looking to Improve their Track & Field Athleticism. Rudderville Running Track and Field Club does NOT operate during TSSAA track season.

Our Team Leaders:

Coach Marcos Harris is our head coach. His coaching emphasis is on strength building, flexibility training, sprinting, high jump, and mid-distance.

Coach Kevin Lewis assists with training hurdlers, long jumpers, and triple jumpers. 

Coach Vik Murthy assists with our pole vaulters ensuring safety as top priority.

Our program designer, Lauren Simpson, is a Doctor of Physical Therapy with Tier 3 WCS clearance as well as Safe Sport certified. She oversees the club and programming and provides supplemental workouts with online challenges available through the team app and YouTube channel. 

 

Our cost includes access to programs/challenges including: upper body, lower body, core/abs, stretching, strength/power & more designed by the club founder who is a doctor of physical therapy. Nutritional advice/tips, recipes for runners, special equipment access to enhance both home and group training, as well as coaching for various track events. The club fee also covers administrative/operating costs including but not limited to: insurance/legal/accounting/website/and T&F memberships. Those who wish to compete will pay a separate fee for uniform and meet entries. 

 

Our coaches are volunteers who strive to make a difference with local athletes dedicating their time and expertise for our mission.

 

Whether you're an experience track and field athlete or just want to expand your skills and get in shape in the off-season, our program will benefit you! 

2024 is the inaugural year of RRTFC and we plan to add events in upcoming years. Summer of 2024 offerings: 

Events Coached: Sprints, Hurdles, Long Jump, Mid-Distance

Nutrition, stretching, home recommendations & more!
